PREdS Study Update

The STAR Committee would like to extend their thanks to all the trusts in the region who took part in the PREdS study. Thanks to your hard work and the hard work of trainees all over the country, we have managed to include over 23000 patients from NHS trusts nationwide!

We have now begun the process of data analysis for the audit phase, as well as moving forwards with the necessary approvals for the secondary analysis.

For those of you interested in more information, Oli Barker will be talking at the annual STAR Congress this month, offering his first hand experience of running such an ambitious trainee project. We will also keep you all updated with the latest developments with the study, including results, as they happen so watch this space….
