ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

About

The Severn Trainee Anaesthetic Research Group (STAR), in association with the University of Bristol Anaesthesia, Pain and Critical Care group, are pleased to announce the STAR 5th Annual Research Conference.

 

Open to trainees of all grades, this will be an exciting day of talks from national experts at the forefront of anaesthetic research.The day also allows sign off of the mandatory Research and Managing Data of the Generic Professional Domain in the 2021 Curriculum.

Programme Highlights: Research updates, career guidance, poster/oral presentations and STAR Project Pitch.

STAR PROJECT PITCH - TRAINEE PRIZE

Submissions now open!
 

Do you have a great idea for a research or QI project? 
Are you doing a project you want to expand? 

Submit your proposal to stargroupresearch@gmail.com
- This prize opportunitiy is open to all trainees. You'll be expected to prepare a 5-minute presentation on the idea. The project will be reviewed by a panel before the prize presentation at the end of the day! 

 

Submission details: 

  • Maximum one side of A4, size 12 print.

  • Deadline January 11th 2024

  • Infographics or posters are welcome and we'll publish these during the event!
