STAR are pleased to support this national RAFT project evaluating airway management in cardiac arrest. Our region has a great record of supporting national research projects, and we will aim to run this study in each centre in Severn. AIRWAYS-3 Trial - opportunity for trainee involvement in national RCT! Are you an anaesthetic or ICM trainee/fellow in the UK? Interested in getting involved with an upcoming research trial on airway management in cardiac arrest? The Research and Audit Federation of Trainees (RAFT) are working with Warwick University on the soon to start AIRWAYS-3 trial. We are looking for trainees interested in either helping with recruitment as recognised collaborators, or more formally as associate PI’s at sites around the UK (https://www.nihr.ac.uk/health-and-care-professionals/career-development/associate-principal-investigator-scheme.htm).
